Welcome to the Dilution by Blurring. As you might have guessed from the title, this blog will discuss all things trademark with special attention paid to trademark developments in the Fourth Circuit. I am your host, Larry Staton Jr., and I hope to provide detailed analysis of trademark issues without the legal jargon. After more than seven years of writing legalese, I will have a tough task, but I hope that we’ll learn from each other.

Will hope to work my way through the technicalities of this very specialized legal field as best I can… Of course my specialty dealt more with criminal law… at the operational level! Good luck with your newest venture.
